From me to you …

By the time you read my Newsletter, Donald Trump will have been sworn in as the next President. When I listen to people, I hear some say, there is “hope” again.  

Like I said before the election, if God wants former President Donald Trump to be elected this time, he will be elected whether we like him or not. Amazing. If you didn’t think before that God is in Control, well, now you do.

But, as for our “hope,” it rests in Jesus alone. For how long we have freedom to worship our God, we don’t know. However, no matter what, I say, we can worship our God even as Daniel did. There will be a way for “I choose to do it ‘The Jesus way.’ ”

Be it underground or out in the open, we will worship our God. Like the song goes, “I choose to do it The Jesus Way.”

In these days of unrest all over our world it would be easy to question, how long Lord Jesus? Why not call us home now. Or, again, we can choose to live as Great Commission Christians knowing totally that God is taking care of us. We need to plan for life and if God has other plans, he’ll certainly let us know. For now, we need to choose The Jesus Way, choose life and the witness God has granted.  Share just one more time and just maybe, someone you meet will come to know the Savior because of your testimony.

And I know only too well, it isn’t always easy especially when the pain of our bodies dictates otherwise but be encouraged, Jesus suffered far more than we can ever imagine to redeem us. As undeserving as we are, He loved us, willing to die for us and then did die. He died the death of a sinner, though he had no sin.

I want to ask Jesus, why did you do that for me? I know His answer, “because he loved me, and you. There was no other way. It had to be the cross.

That brings me to say, lay your concerns, like the future at the cross. Just lay them there but remember to leave them there.

I’m wishing us all a very good New Year. One that glorifies God.  We can do it!!
