The Christian life is not a “Once done Scenario” … “and then it’s off to heaven we go.”
A.W. Tozer stated in “The Root of the Righteous.”
- The temptation to make our relation to God judicial (or Judgmental from God) instead of personal is very strong.
- Believing for salvation has these days been reduced to a once-done act that requires no further attention.
- The Christian is strong or weak depending upon how close he has cultivated the knowledge of God to himself.
The word of God also states:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30 NIV).
It’s time to wake up as a Church: “There is no such thing as a Christian merry-go-round to heaven … “Come quickly Lord Jesus” you have told us to be great commission Christians … we need your help.
